Terms of Service — Last updated: May 27, 2026

Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using DockSolo (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

What DockSolo does

DockSolo pins the macOS Dock to a single screen in multi-monitor setups. It uses a public macOS API (CGEventTap) to detect when the cursor enters the Dock trigger zone on a non-pinned screen and silently prevents the Dock from following. The native Dock is never modified.

DockSolo requires Accessibility permission and uses no private APIs.

License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Obsidian IT Consulting SRL grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, sublicense, rent, lease, or sell the App or any portion of it.

Purchase

DockSolo is sold directly through our website using Polar as the Merchant of Record. Polar handles payment, invoicing, and VAT compliance on our behalf.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. macOS behavior around the Dock, multi-display configuration, and Accessibility APIs is controlled by Apple and may change without notice; DockSolo will adapt on a best-effort basis.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Obsidian IT Consulting SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Privacy

DockSolo collects no personal data. See the Privacy Policy for details on what is and is not stored on your device.

Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be noted in the App's release notes. Continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively before the courts of Brussels, Belgium.
